Ravenwood Castle - 2023

This past weekend, I joined Corey of Blue Falcon Board Gaming and other new friends at Ravenwood Castle in New Plymouth, OH for a full weekend of board gaming!

I must say, it did not disappoint. We arrived Friday afternoon and got settled while others trickled in throughout the evening. We had over 10 folks in our party staying at the cabins away from the castle. However, we met in the castle library during the day for games. Over the course of the 3 days, I played 14 different games (8 new to me).

I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, the only cell signal was at the main castle, but it was spotty at best. There was a bunch of laughter each day, new connections being made, and without Internet/cell service; genuine human interaction. These types of getaways are few and far between so I would suggest you get out, leave the laptop behind, and just experience a true vacation with the friends and family you have. Who knows, you may befriend someone you didn't think you would.
